Technology is amazing, isn't it! To think that you can literally access so much data just while lounging in your home. The personal computer is definitely a major asset these days. And with high-speed Internet connection it's truly phenomenal. You can stir up so much information with a mere name. Let's pretend you knew someone back in high school and would like to get hold of them again to talk about old times, and naturally even find out about new times and what they're up to these days.
I never was much good at staying in touch with people. Even back in high school I would lose phone numbers or simply forget to call over the summer break. I suppose it's just a vice of mine.
Sadly it didn't get any better once I ventured off to college. I must have met over a dozen students, who befriended me each quarter. That's a lot of phone numbers and email addresses. You'd think I would reach out and get in touch with them on occasion. However, I typically waited until it was too late, which basically translates to awkward if I called. After a few months go by things just get weird. Anyway, now days there is a way to get in touch with those long lost acquaintances, even if you lost their info. Just don't forget their names! You'll need that when you use an online search detective.
This is how an online search detective comes in handy. You can open a search engine for locating people, punch in the first and last name, and voila - you'll be immediately hit with a list of folks who share that name. Don't be discouraged if there are 50 or even 100 of them. You have the power of already knowing where they came from. Just take a look and see which one of them lived in the town/city where you attended high school. I doubt there will be many. Most likely just one. You can even see the dates they resided in that area. It will also tell you if they moved and where they live now.
